Flour helva or Un helvası (Turkish) is an easily-made sweet food from the Turkish cuisine; the ease-of-elaboration makes it an ideal choice for funerals (food offered to visitors of condolence). For that reason there are many jokes in the Turkish culture about "un helvası" and generally it is not preferred as a dessert out of funerals.
